Amelia M. Burton (she/her) is a writer of queer speculative fiction with a particular passion for metal women or women in metal, whether they’re knights or robots. If you met her in real life, she would most likely be dressed head to toe in pastel pink and baking a tray of cookies, but her fiction leans dark.
Her work has been published in Uncharted Magazine, MENACE Magazine, and The Crawling Moon: Queer Tales of Inescapable Dread from Neon Hemlock Press, and is forthcoming in Lunae Literature and Review and My Galvanized Friend.
Her newsletter, The Ace Lit Corner, a bi-weekly publication of essays and book reviews exploring asexuality in fiction and beyond, has been active since February of 2025. Amelia is committed to reading, writing, engaging with, and uplifting ace-spec and aro-spec fiction, especially of the speculative genre.
